Stars and fate prevail in fantasy romance Shine or Go Crazy
Posters are out for fusion romance period drama Shine or Go Crazy, and you can tell they’re really going for the star-crossed lovers angle, what with all the shiny (crazy?) stars and the romantic gazes. (The stars are pretty but I actually wish they’d eased off a bit, because now the show’s starting to look a little sci-fi to me, a la Joseon X-Files, and I’m pretty sure that is not the intent.)

Shine or Go Crazy’s royal love triangle
Two half-brother princes vying for the throne and falling for the same princess? What could possibly go wrong? Im Joo-hwan finally gets his turn to shine (…or go crazy) as the romantic spoilsport in the epically doomed/cursed/fated love between Oh Yeon-seoand Jang Hyuk, in their new MBC fantasy historical drama Shine or Go Crazy. He’s clearly going to be the flower boy counterpart to Jang Hyuk’s manly man, though both characters will do as much swordplay as they do romancing, if their “top-class sword-fighting skills” get put to good use, anyway.

Im Ju Hwan at Criminal Designer (Con Artists/The Technicians) VIP Movie Premier
An action movie which features actor young actor Kim Woobin and Lee Hyunwoo, “Criminal Designer”, is scheduled to be released on December 24, right before Christmas.
Ahead of the release, the movie held its showcase last week and will have a media screening premier along with a VIP premiere today, December 16, at the Lotte Cinema World Tower, Seoul at 2 pm and 7.30 p.m. KST.

Im Ju Hwan to star in "Shine or Go Crazy"
Actor Im Joo-hwan is starring in the new MBC drama "Shine or Go Crazy".
This will be his first drama in a year.
"Shine or Go Crazy" is based on an original romance historical. It's based in the early times of the Koryeo about the Imperial Prince called Wang So (Jang Hyeok) and princess Sin Yool (Oh Yeon-seo).

Review of "Drama Festival - The diary of Heong Yeong-dang"

It seems like I write this about Joseon-era dramas all the time, but "Drama Festival - The Diary of Heong Yeong-dang" really does look great. Look at the brightness of the colors in the happy moments. And look at how subdued they become in apparent times of tragic discovery. Director Lee Jae-in-II really does have a flair for creating visuals that enhance the brightness of the mood. Even if, in a case like this, the mood is mostly just about a lot of bad stuff.
