Do Hee asks why Hyun Suk didn’t know about the fact of Joon Soo stabbing 3 times and he says he was selfish. He tried living life not caring about what happened and cutting off all ties with Joon Soo.
He tells her he studied law and became a prosecutor hoping he could look into the case, but it didn’t end up that way.
"As my guilt grew, I became more selfish."
Do Hee tells him she was scared that he’d feel guilty so she asked another lawyer to look into it for her.
"To Joon Soo and you, if this case was re-opened it would be too horrible to you two…However if it really wasn’t intentional murder but rather self-defence, I thought that that would be of hope for us."
Hyun Suk says he will personally look into the case, but Do Hee tells him not to because Joon Soo wouldn’t like that.
"I was at the scene of the crime. I am able to access the case. If (there is a chance) Hyung can free himself from being named a murderer, then I want to be the one to do that. But…don’t tell him about this."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hyun Suk goes over the evidence and interviews from the case and everything seems strange…
In particular, he notices that Joon Soo kept on changing his words as the case went along…
He meets up with Chul Soo later on at night and asks him,
"If there’s a victim that keeps on changing their confession…what does that mean?"
Chul Soo gives him a straight-forward answer,"If they keep on changing it…there’s only one reason: they have something to hide."

Harabeoji is here to ask Jung Yeon if she’s really going for a divorce and she says she’s just become too much of a burden for Joon Soo and Do Hee.
Harabeoji points out that Joon Soo killed someone and Jung Yeon says she knows.
"Although he killed someone, I’ve always taken notice of him before. He unintentionally killed someone in order to protect his brother. And if the victim’s father did not use his power,he wouldn’t have gotten such a harsh sentence."
"It looks like you believe that I will understand him one day.” Harabeoji says.
"Yes I do. He’s someone that has to accept the prejudices of everyone. I hope at least you will be able to protect him.""Before I knew he was a murderer, I thought he would be the perfect partner for Do Hee, so no matter what anyone said I would stand by their side. But it’s not like that now…even if it’s unintentional, killing someone is not right. Although they are pitiful, he has committed a crime that cannot be forgiven. I can’t let that type of person enter my home."
(Whaaa… and I though you said you were starting to accept them just an episode ago Harabeoji TT_TT….)
Jung Yeon says it’s because she knows Haraeboji is like this, and because she can’t support them, she can only leave…

Joon Soo is looking troubled and Do Hee comes in to cheer him up.
"You want to hug me, don’t you? No matter how hard it is, you want to give me one, right? But what to do Gong Joon Soo? I’m not going to give you that opportunity. Why? Because it’s not how Na Do Hee is. The stock price goes up and down, it’s nothing we can do. The rumours are going to stop by themselves as well. That’s why, I don’t need to be consoled.""Don’t waste your effort Do Hee. You don’t have to be so optimistic (literally, he said ‘lively’)"
Awww, she’s just trying to cheer you up ….(▰︶︹︺▰)
"I’ll put off your punishment just for today."
And then she gives him a hug…(っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ
She tells him,”I wasn’t been optimistic. I know both of us are going through a lot…things are like this already, what can we do?”
He takes this as a cue to hug her back and he pats her back, in a way, consoling her as well.
She draws back all of a sudden and tells him,
" I already put off (your punishment), but that doesn’t mean it’s still not in effect. The thing about me is that I’m always consistent in the the punishments I give."
(HEHE) (=^-ω-^=)
"Are you annoyed? (You’re thinking) "I should have kissed her then!".So take your hands and beg “Do Hee yah, Do Hee yah, let me kiss you just once!”"Do that and beg me, Gong Joon Soo."
HEHEHEH.
Yeah, Joon Soo why don’t you!?
I really was anticipating a smooch (〜 ̄▽ ̄)〜….
(Is Writer Jung saving it up for a much more passionate scene?? That’s the only explanation I can give myself for now
)….

Hyun Suk takes a big step forward in facing the problem and meets up with the detective that was in charge of the case (forgot his name…)
The detective tells Hyun Suk he was selfish because he just fought and left the scene.
"I persuaded you before, if you could’ve changed your testimony, your brother’s case might of changed…"
Hyun Suk says he wants to know the details of the interrogation.
Well, the detective tells him he asked Joon Soo if he was intoxicated because he looked out of it at the time (but he wasn’t).
And, there was something strange as well…
Although he was not at the scene of the crime, he asked other officers that were.
"If it was an accidental murder, under normal circumstances the person would normally just sit there or maybe try to escape, right? As well, up till the moment he was going to be arrested, (they found) there was damage done to surrounding objects…the officers said he looked like a crazy man when they found him.”
Hyun Suk asks, "Then, what exactly got damaged?"
The detective tells him things like a plank and some wooden poles…
No matter how many times they asked him what the murder weapon was, he would not say and only kept on insisting he was the murderer.
"Did he not keep on overturning his testimony?" Hyun Suk asks.
"He was not overturning it. He was only ‘adding’ on to it. It was like he was trying to match the pieces in a puzzle. In order to make himself become a murderer he was trying to satisfy the ‘conditions’, and he did so perfectly.""You should know why your brother pleaded guilty to murder and not to self- defense ..right? He thought this was the only way to protect his brother. If he didn’t claim that he was the murderer till the very end, Lee Kyung Tae’s father would’ve dragged you into the case and named you as the accomplice."
With that being said, the detective tells Hyun Suk no matter how guilty he feels, he should leave this in the past as Joon Soo has already served his time.
"As he had wished, it went in the direction he wanted it to go in. So even if you still have regrets, just do as your brother wished."
But, would Hyun Suk really do that? I think not…
His whole life, he wished to help his brother with this case. And now knowing that he might of had something to do with it, there’s no way he’s going to ‘brush’ this aside. If there’s a responsibility he has to take, he will….
He comes back to the office lost in a daze and he tells Prosecutor Cha something he’s sure of now…
"My brother…didn’t have the time to stab someone 3 times…"(|||❛︵❛.)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And as it’s important for Hyun Suk to face the truth, Nari will also be the key player in unravelling it…
It just so happens that she’s observing a familiar scene that’s being played out by Dong Woo and some other actor. Two school boys fighting in the rain…
And suddenly Dong Woo screams out and everyone halts. He says he got poked by a nail on a board (ouch…. and he says he’s okay o_o) and that’s what stirs Nari up when she sees the blood dripping from that nail.
Her mind flashes back to the past and then back to the present, and it’s clear she has finally put the pieces of the puzzle back together…
She phones Joon Soo and they meet each other across an intersection. They look at each other and Nari talks through the phone telling him,
"That oppa, already died."
She mindlessly starts walking forward,
"You didn’t kill him…Keun Oppa…why did you do that (then)?”
And it’s at this moment…an oncoming car approaches…
(πーπ)
As I had hoped before, it’s Nari who would remember it all and bring the truth to the surface (and NOT what Joo Young was doing—- trying to COVER it up…Now hopefully she will realize the pain she inflicted on everyone (and US) was useless, and in vain =.=….)
